Senior Business Development Manager

Extension Recruitment is partnering with a reputable manufacturer who is part of a global group. They are recruiting for a Sales and Account Executive who will work from a site in Northamptonshire or Yorkshire, depending on the candidate's location. The role offers hybrid working, allowing the successful applicant to split their time between the office and remote work.
This fast-paced environment will suit an experienced Account Executive with the ability to grow existing accounts and nurture a sales pipeline through to project completion.
Key Benefits:
- Competitive salary plus bonus with an OTE of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
- Car Allowance of around £6,000
- 25 days annual leave and a holiday buy/sell scheme

About the Role:
As the Sales and Account Executive, you will nurture existing accounts, drive business growth, and acquire new customers across the UK.
Responsibilities include:
- Working closely with new and existing customers, building lasting relationships and actively managing their projects through to completion.
- Developing a pipeline of direct display users, fostering intercompany relationships, and enhancing structural design to gain a competitive edge.
- Expanding the customer base, identifying sales opportunities, and optimizing marketing strategies.
- Managing account portfolios' budget expectations.
About You:
As the Sales and Account Executive, you will be an experienced Account Executive with the confidence to develop and nurture long-term relationships with a range of customers across the UK.
Requirements include:
- Degree-qualified with postgraduate experience in a related field.
- Knowledge of POS or retail display units will be highly advantageous.
- Demonstrable experience of managing current accounts within a territory.
- Strong consultative sales approach.
- Experience driving new business development with existing and new customers.
- Proven experience project managing technical projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
- Strong consultative sales approach with a solid level of technical understanding.
- A strong networker, leveraging networking tools to maximize reach and build industry credibility.
