Job Description: Child Health Coordinator - Rota Management

Location: Barts Health NHS Trust, Newham Hospital, London, E13 8SL

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum

We are looking for a skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Child Health Coordinator - Rota Management. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate staffing of the medical rota is created and circulated to staff in a timely fashion.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of being able to work within set timeframes to meet deadlines and possess a good understanding of medical terminology. Experience in training requirements for junior doctors is desirable.

You will be expected to maintain and update rota information as necessary, monitor the quality of your own work and others, and assess risk to ensure Health and Safety policies are upheld.

This is a fixed-term contract, adjusted to account for the hiring process and pre-employment checks. The contract duration will begin when the candidate starts the role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure accurate staffing of the medical rota is created and circulated to staff in a timely fashion
  • Maintain and update rota information as necessary
  • Monitor quality of own work and others
  • Assess risk and report any issues that may put Health and Safety at risk
Requirements:
  • A good level of medical terminology
  • ECDL or equivalent experience
  • Proven track record of working within set timeframes to meet deadlines
  • Experience in training requirements for junior doctors (desirable)
