Job Overview
We're seeking a Project Manager to join our expanding Real Estate team in Newcastle. As a key member of our team, you'll lead Project Management Commissions, taking responsibility for end-to-end service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary client interface, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Lead the establishment of project success criteria, including time, cost, technical, and performance parameters.
- Plan and manage quality, safety, health, and environment issues.
- Establish effective project governance, processes, and systems.
- Project planning, including producing detailed project plans.
- Advising on resource procurement.
- Leading and facilitating cross-functional project teams.
- Monitoring and applying performance management techniques.
- Managing change control processes.
- Monitoring and advising on project finances.
- Managing project information flow between teams and clients.
- Ensuring production of formal project progress reports.
- Interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages.
Marketing and Business Development
- Develop new business opportunities with existing and new Turner & Townsend clients.
- Identify and act on cross-selling opportunities.
- Work with Associate Directors and Directors to construct bids for new work.
- Attend client pitches with Assistant Directors and Directors.
- Ensure project case studies, photographs, and project CV files are up-to-date.
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve project management products and services.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in a relevant discipline.
- Proven experience managing Real Estate projects, ideally in a consultancy environment.
