Job Summary

Ribbons and Reeves Limited is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Primary SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, including those with Autism Spectrum Condition, Speech and Communication Difficulties, and ADHD.
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver learning activities for individuals and groups of students, tailored to their specific needs.
  • Monitor pupils' progress, assess, record, and report on their achievement, progress, and development, and provide feedback to the SEND Team.
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and family members, and work collaboratively with them to support students' needs.
  • Collaborate with the School Nursing Service, Early Help and Social Care teams, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support for students.
Requirements:
  • Relevant qualifications and experience in working with students with SEN.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • Knowledge of SEN policies and procedures, and a commitment to inclusive education practices.
