As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant at LTF Recruitment Ltd, you will play a vital role in helping our students with SEN reach their full potential. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-on-one support to students with SEN, adapting teaching materials and methods to suit their individual needs.
  • Assisting the class teacher in fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Monitoring and recording student progress and sharing insights with the teaching team and parents/guardians as needed.
  • Offering emotional support and encouragement to students, aiding in the development of their confidence and self-esteem.
  • Collaborating with professionals such as SENCOs and therapists to implement individualized education plans.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to inclusive education.
  • Previous experience working with students with special educational needs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work as part of a team and follow the direction of the class teacher.
  • A patient and empathetic nature.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in special education (desirable but not essential).
