Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team as a Post 16 Support Worker. The successful candidate will work closely with our multidisciplinary therapy team to provide support to students with complex needs and severe to profound multiple learning difficulties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with complex needs and severe to profound multiple learning difficulties
  • Work closely with the therapy team to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Assist students with personal care and daily living skills
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the school's SEN policy

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and experience in working with students with SEN
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Current enhanced DBS clearance
