Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Specialist Occupational Therapist. This role will involve working with a multidisciplinary team to provide specialist assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction for individuals with mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction for individuals with mental health conditions.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Hold supervisory responsibility for other Occupational Therapists and provide clinical and managerial supervision.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practice within the service.
- Participate in service development and contribute to the growth and development of the Occupational Therapy team.
Requirements
- Registered Occupational Therapist with a strong background in mental health.
- Experience in providing specialist assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Leadership and management skills, with experience of supervising and mentoring other Occupational Therapists.
