Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Specialist Occupational Therapist - Band 6 to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. As a Specialist Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in the assessment and treatment of occupational dysfunction for service users, working alongside an Occupational Therapy Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users to identify occupational needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated care and support to service users, promoting their skills and progress through our clinical model of care.
- Report directly to the Regional Lead Occupational Therapist, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Registration with the HCPC is essential for this role.
- Experience in mental health is highly desirable, with a strong understanding of Occupational Therapy processes and interventions.
- Excellent communication and time management skills are required to effectively work with service users, colleagues, and stakeholders.
- A passion for supporting others and promoting their well-being is essential for success in this role.
