Job Overview

SS&C Technologies Holdings is seeking a skilled Complaint Handler to join our team. As a Complaint Handler, you will play a critical role in investigating and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations into customer complaints, gathering all relevant information and documentation to ensure accurate and fair resolutions.
  • Develop and implement effective resolution strategies, working closely with internal and external partners to source information and resolve issues.
  • Produce high-quality written communications that are clear, concise, and informative, ensuring that customers are kept up-to-date on the status of their complaints.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including FCA complaints rules (DISP), and internal policies and procedures for handling and reporting complaints.
  • Actively engage with customers to understand their concerns and provide quality feedback to improve their experience.
  • Manage individual case loads within agreed service levels, responding promptly to requests for information and ensuring timely resolutions.

Requirements

  • You will be a customer-focused individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, able to work effectively with customers and colleagues alike.
  • You will have a proven track record of resolving complex complaints and disputes, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • You will be a proactive and organized individual, able to manage competing priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • You will have a friendly and empathetic phone manner, with the ability to build rapport with customers and provide a high level of customer service.
