Job Overview

SS&C Technologies Holdings is seeking a skilled Complaint Handler to join our team. As a Complaint Handler, you will play a critical role in investigating and resolving customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough investigations into customer complaints, gathering all relevant information and documentation to ensure accurate and fair resolutions.
  • Develop and implement effective resolution strategies, working closely with internal and external partners to source information and resolve complaints.
  • Produce high-quality written communications that are clear, concise, and informative, ensuring that customers are kept up-to-date on the status of their complaints.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of regulatory requirements, including FCA complaints rules (DISP), and internal policies for handling and reporting complaints.
  • Engage with customers to discuss findings and agree on resolutions, providing a Final Response Letter to confirm the outcome.

Requirements

  • You will be a customer-focused individual with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • You will have a proven track record of resolving complaints and disputes, with a strong understanding of financial services and regulatory requirements.
  • You will be proactive, organized, and able to manage competing priorities, with a friendly and empathetic phone manner.
  • You will have a strong eye for detail and be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
