About the Role
The Senior Maintenance Professional will deliver strategic engineering services for the provision, development, and management of a comprehensive portfolio of hard and soft services. This will enable the achievement of Queen Mary Strategic Plan, ensuring efficient and effective working and learning environments for staff and students.
As a member of the EAF engineering team, the post holder will ensure all services are proactive and driven by industry best practices. They will also be responsible for delivering high-quality, solution-focused, reliable, and resilient estates technical services.
About You
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated professional with a proven record of accomplishment in successfully managing and delivering an effective maintenance service.
They will be qualified to degree level in Engineering or a building-related discipline or equivalent relevant experience. Experience of maintenance management is also essential.
About the Department
The Estates and Facilities department is currently short-staffed in the shift multi-skilled technician roles. These roles are currently being covered by agency, which is not cost-effective. Filling these roles is crucial to delivering critical out-of-hours services that enable the Estates and Facilities operations team to respond instantly to emergencies across the campuses.
