About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Tower Hamlet. As a key member of our local repairs team, you will be responsible for supporting residents with reactive repairs and maintenance across our portfolio of properties.

As a Senior Maintenance Coordinator within our team, you will be out on site, scheduling operative and sub-contract resource to ensure effective resource management, delivery of a customer-focused repairs service, and meeting performance targets.

  • Schedule and allocate trade operatives and subcontractors to optimize resource utilization and minimize average turnaround time.
  • Maintain accurate records of job status, including jobs raised, booked, cancelled, or overdue, ensuring seamless communication with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to provide an efficient and productive service, fostering excellent relationships with residents, clients, and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety protocols at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise between residents and maintenance workers regarding ongoing work, where required.
  • Support administrators, operatives, supervisors, and subcontractors to deliver high-quality services.
  • Participate in informal and formal company meetings, training sessions, and client events as necessary.
Requirements:
  • Call Centre Experience
  • Previous experience in planning within a Social Housing environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management, planning, and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in computerized systems
  • Superb customer service skills
