This vacancy is for a female care professional to join our client's support package to provide assistance in their own home for 12 hours per week. We will be your legal employer on behalf of the client, and you will not be required to support other clients. All of our contracts are for permanent positions with a 6-month probationary period.

About the Role:
We are seeking a part-time female personal care assistant to support a young man with special needs, autism, and limited mobility. You will be required to work on a Monday and Friday, 6 hours each day, and be flexible to cover additional shifts when needed.
About the Client and Support Needed:
Our client lives at home with his family in the Driffield area and requires support with daily living tasks. You will be responsible for assisting with meal preparation, loading and unloading his scooter into the van, cleaning and tidying his living spaces, and ensuring his areas are sanitized due to his brittle asthma. When out and about, you will ensure his safety and well-being, as autism can make him feel vulnerable. You will make his life enjoyable and engaging by creating activities within his ability range.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation and cleaning
• Support with loading and unloading the scooter into the van
• Maintain a safe and clean living environment
• Ensure the client's areas are sanitized
• Provide emotional support and companionship
• Engage the client in activities within his ability range
