Hospitality Events Planning Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Hospitality Events Planning Manager to lead our award-nominated team at Park Plaza Riverbank. With a strong background in meeting and events planning, the successful candidate will bring their expertise in coordinating and planning high-profile events.

This role requires a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills, able to work closely with the Director of Meeting & Events Planning and senior stakeholders. The successful candidate will have experience in meeting and events planning in a hotel environment and be able to pro-actively drive incremental spends on events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meticulously coordinate and plan larger hotel events
  • Assist the Director of Planning in the day-to-day running of the department
  • Inject fresh ideas to drive service standards and encourage repeat business
  • Take an active role in training and development of M&E Planning team members
  • Engage with senior stakeholders on a daily basis
  • Pro-actively drive incremental spends on events
  • Communicate all event details to hotel operational teams through the BEO in a timely and effective manner
  • Establish and nurture positive relationships with clients to encourage repeat business
  • Where required, deputise for the Director of Meeting and Events Planning in their absence at Hotel and client meetings
  • Demonstrate your passion for events and excellent hospitality

Compensation and Benefits:

  • A competitive salary of £55,000 - £60,000 per annum
