About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Compliance Manager to join our Nuclear New Build (NNB) Legal team at EDF. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in safeguarding the integrity and success of our groundbreaking nuclear projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the compliance efforts for NNB projects, ensuring strict adherence to key legislation such as export controls, GDPR, and anti-bribery laws.
  • Embed a robust compliance framework and proactively manage emerging issues, collaborating closely with EDF Compliance and NNB teams.
  • Oversee governance and risk management, aligning with shareholder and government requirements while driving continuous improvement.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders, guide senior leaders on compliance matters, and ensure high standards through regular audits, training, and process enhancements.
  • Stay ahead of legislative changes, advise on necessary adjustments, and lead initiatives to maintain operational excellence across the projects.

Requirements

  • Seasoned compliance professional with extensive knowledge of legal and regulatory frameworks, particularly in areas like export controls, data protection, and competition law.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing compliance frameworks within highly regulated industries, especially in large infrastructure or nuclear projects.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Commercial acumen and ability to navigate and influence senior leadership effectively.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
