Job Description

We are seeking a Caseworker and Activity Facilitator to join our team at The Growth Company. As a Support Worker, you will deliver rehabilitation and employment training and education support to individuals and groups within our Activity Hub.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying individual learning needs and creating action plans to support participants' progression to education, training, and employment. You will also plan training and other interventions, develop strong relationships with participants, and enable them to access and use relevant information.

Requirements
  • Information Advice and Guidance qualifications (or equivalent) are desired, but not essential. Experience working intensively with individuals and supporting their progression is more important.
  • Knowledge of National Probation Services or HM Prison environments and/or training, education, and employment opportunities locally and nationally is required.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills are essential, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with participants from diverse backgrounds.

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience.
