About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Storage Administrator to join our growing IT team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for leading technical projects and developing innovative storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Complex Solutions: Utilize your expertise to design and develop complex, integrated storage solutions that meet the needs of our business.
  • Cost Analysis and Vendor Comparison: Perform thorough cost analyses and vendor comparisons to ensure that our storage solutions are cost-effective and meet our business requirements.
  • 24x7 On-Call Support: Provide 24x7 on-call support to ensure that our storage systems are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain technical subject matter expertise on established and emerging storage systems and technologies.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate system operations and environment changes to stakeholders and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all storage solutions meet SOX, PCI, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Capacity and Redundancy Management: Understand and avoid capacity, redundancy, and health constraints of storage systems.
  • Automated Storage Device Management: Understand and manage automated storage device management and configuration.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that all security requirements are met and that our storage solutions are compliant with industry standards.
  • Technical Input and Planning: Provide technical input to solution development plans and concept documents, and plan and manage technical projects involving other teams.
  • Research and Development: Research new technologies and propose cost-effective solutions to meet the evolving needs of our business.
Requirements

The successful Lead Storage Administrator will have advanced knowledge of EMC VPLEX, POWERMAX storage platforms, NAS, and will be able to provide extensive technical expertise and analysis on the business storage environments.
