About the Role

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Lead Storage Administrator to join our client's growing IT team. As a key member of the infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex storage solutions, leading technical projects, and providing expert technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Storage Solutions: Create and implement integrated storage solutions that meet the business needs of our client.
  • Technical Leadership: Lead technical projects and provide guidance to team members on storage technologies and best practices.
  • Storage Expertise: Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of storage systems, including EMC VPLEX, POWERMAX storage platforms, and NAS.
  • Capacity Planning: Ensure that storage systems are properly sized and configured to meet business needs.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that all security requirements are met and that storage systems are compliant with relevant regulations.
  • Project Management: Plan and manage technical projects involving other teams, ensuring timely and successful delivery.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Storage Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of storage systems, including EMC VPLEX, POWERMAX storage platforms, and NAS.
  • Technical Expertise: Extensive technical expertise and analysis on business storage environments.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to guide and mentor team members.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum.
