Job Title: Lead Storage Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Storage Administrator to join our growing IT team in Southampton. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex storage solutions, providing 24x7 on-call support, and communicating system operations and environment changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop integrated storage solutions
  • Perform cost analyses and vendor comparisons
  • Provide on-call support and communicate system changes
  • Develop technical expertise on storage systems and technologies
  • Ensure security requirements are met and adhere to regulatory requirements
  • Provide technical input to solution development plans
  • Research new technologies and propose cost-effective solutions
  • Plan and manage technical projects involving other teams

Requirements:

  • Advanced knowledge of EMC VPLEX, POWERMAX storage platforms, and NAS
  • Extensive technical expertise and analysis on business storage environments
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

About the Role:

As a Lead Storage Administrator, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, develop your technical expertise, and lead technical projects involving other teams.
