About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Storage Administrator to join our growing IT team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex storage solutions, leading technical projects, and providing expert technical guidance to the team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Storage Solutions: Design and develop complex, integrated storage solutions that meet the business needs of our clients.
  • Lead Technical Projects: Lead technical projects involving other teams, ensuring timely and successful delivery of projects.
  • Provide Expert Technical Guidance: Provide expert technical guidance to the team on established and emerging storage systems and technologies.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all storage solutions meet regulatory requirements, including SOX, PCI, and other relevant standards.
  • Manage Storage Systems: Understand and manage capacity, redundancy, and health constraints of storage systems.
  • Develop Technical Subject Matter Expertise: Develop and maintain technical subject matter expertise on established and emerging storage systems and technologies.
  • Communicate System Operations: Communicate system operations and environment changes to stakeholders.
  • Research New Technologies: Research new storage technologies and propose cost-effective solutions to the team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have advanced knowledge of EMC VPLEX, POWERMAX storage platforms, NAS, and other relevant storage technologies. You will also need to have excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
