Job Summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Lead Storage Administrator to lead technical projects and develop innovative storage solutions. As a key member of our client's growing IT team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex, integrated solutions, performing cost analyses, and providing 24x7 on-call support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Project Leadership
    • Design and develop complex, integrated storage solutions
    • Perform cost analyses and vendor comparisons for projects
    • Provide 24x7 on-call support
  • Storage Solutions Development
    • Develop technical subject matter expertise on established and emerging storage systems and technologies
    • Communicate system operations and environment changes
    • Adhere to regulatory requirements
  • Infrastructure Expertise
    • Understand and avoid capacity, redundancy, and health constraints of storage systems
    • Ensure that all security requirements are met
    • Provide technical input to solution development plans and concept documents

Requirements

  • Advanced knowledge of EMC VPLEX, POWERMAX storage platforms, NAS
  • Extensive technical expertise and analysis on business storage environments
