Delivery Director

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Delivery Director to join our Whole Vehicle - Engineering Workshop team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the operational delivery of the workshop, ensuring quality, budgetary control, product delivery, Health & Safety, and people procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure that processes, documentation, and procedures conducted in the department support strategic performance objectives and are audit compliant.
- Lead the development & training of the team to ensure appropriate skills for both current and future products/processes in line with the cycle plan, adopting a successional planning approach.
- Work at an operational level to ensure the department will deliver to Group processes aligned to Engineering.
- Drive a culture of Continuous Improvement and lead by example.
About the Team:
You will join a team of agile and driven Managers in leading experienced Technicians with the support of your Team Leaders. You will have help from other areas of the wider department which includes Logistics, Technical Support, and Strategic Planning, all have the same common goal and we consistently meet our delivery objectives.
Requirements:
- Automotive Workshop/Aftersales experience.
- People Management experience.
- Managing performance culture experience.
- Automotive software experience (DMS).
