Technical Services Lead

Cegedim e-business UK is a leading EDI Technical Solutions Company with state-of-the-art offices based in Chorley, near Buckshaw Parkway train station. We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Services Lead to join our team and lead the management of our technical support operations.
This is a hands-on role that involves structuring and defining the team, implementing new processes, and getting involved with end-to-end ticket resolution. The role can be offered on a hybrid basis, with 3 days spent in our office and 2 days working from home.
The successful candidate will have experience as a Service Desk Manager or Application Support Manager with strong technical knowledge and a proven track record in implementing new processes.
What You'll Be Doing:- Leading a team of 8 Support Technicians
- Defining and implementing new processes to enhance team performance, customer satisfaction, and overall service quality
- Managing the end-to-end process of ticket resolution through effective allocation and capacity planning
- Leading major incident resolution efforts, working with internal stakeholders to implement application maintenance and monitoring protocols
- Risk analysis and implementation of mitigating measures
We expect the successful candidate to have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and utilise data for informed decision-making and performance improvement.
The estimated salary for this role is around £62,500 per annum.
