Senior Phlebotomy Team Lead

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Phlebotomist to join our NELFT North East London Foundation Trust team. As a Senior Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for leading our phlebotomy service, supervising junior staff, and training them in venepuncture skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the phlebotomy service, ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery.
- Supervise and train junior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet the required standards.
- Develop and implement effective training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with the clinical phlebotomy leads to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
- Accredited qualification in venepuncture.
- Basic first aid qualification.
- Experience of supervising and training junior staff.
- Experience of phlebotomy, including domiciliary experience.
