Management Accountant

Hays Accountancy & Finance is partnering with a global manufacturing group to recruit a driven and dynamic Management Accountant. This permanent and progressive accounting role offers the opportunity to work remotely or in a hybrid setting, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, develop, and analyze financial information to inform business decisions.
- Own the Fixed Asset Register and verify assets across UK sites.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create long-term Capex spend plans.
- Post journals, accruals, and prepayments, as well as review capex projects and forecast spend/depreciation.
- Support internal and external audits, and provide cover for the Senior Finance team.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar position, with part-qualification in CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
- Strong MS Excel skills and experience in financial systems.
- Hands-on, proactive, and committed to ongoing professional development.
- Experience in the manufacturing sector and use of SAP are advantageous but not essential.
