This permanent and progressive accounting role offers a salary between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a study package and up to 15% annual bonus.
About the RoleThis Management Accountant role involves preparing, developing, and analysing financial information to enable the organisation to make well-informed decisions. You will be responsible for the Fixed Asset Register and the verification of assets across the UK sites, ownership of the IFRS 16 Leased Asset Accounting, and continually reviewing Assets Under Construction and capitalising Assets.
Key Responsibilities- Collate longer-term Capex spend plans for the Budget and Strat Plan years
- Post journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Capex project reviews and forecasting capex spend/depreciation
- Provide timely and accurate information to assist with decision-making
- Identify areas for improvement to give more time to value-added activities
- Support internal and external audits when required
- Provide cover for the Senior Finance team with regards Balance Sheet Recs, Intercompany Balance Reconciliations, and VAT processes
To be considered for this fast-paced Management Accountant role, you will need experience in a similar position, part-qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA, with strong MS Excel skills and experience in financial systems. You will be willing to learn and develop, adaptable to business needs, with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
