Management Accountant

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is partnering with a global manufacturing group to recruit a driven and dynamic Management Accountant. This permanent and progressive accounting role offers a salary between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a study package and up to 15% annual bonus.
About the RoleAs a Management Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing, developing, and analysing financial information to support business decision-making. You will work closely with key stakeholders to collate longer-term Capex spend plans for the Budget and Strat Plan years, posting journals, accruals, and prepayments, as well as capex project reviews and forecasting capex spend/depreciation.
Key Responsibilities- Fixed Asset Register and verification of assets across UK sites
- Ownership of IFRS 16 Leased Asset Accounting
- Reviewing Assets Under Construction and capitalising Assets
- Collaborating with stakeholders to provide timely and accurate information for decision-making
- Identifying areas for efficiency improvements
- Supporting internal and external audits
- Providing cover for the Senior Finance team
To be considered for this role, you will need experience in a similar position, part-qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA, and strong MS Excel skills. You will be willing to learn and develop, adaptable to business needs, with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
