Management Accountant

Hays Accountancy & Finance is partnering with a global manufacturing group to recruit a driven and dynamic Management Accountant. This permanent and progressive accounting role offers the opportunity to work remotely or in a hybrid setting, reporting directly to the Financial Controller.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, develop, and analyze financial information to inform business decisions.
- Manage the Fixed Asset Register and verify assets across UK sites.
- Own the IFRS 16 Leased Asset Accounting process and review Assets Under Construction and capitalization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create long-term Capex spend plans for the Budget and Strategy Plan years.
- Post journals, accruals, and prepayments, as well as review capex projects and forecast capex spend and depreciation.
- Support internal and external audits and provide cover for the Senior Finance team with regards Balance Sheet Reconciliations, Intercompany Balance Reconciliations, and VAT processes.
To be considered for this role, you will need experience in a similar position, part-qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA, and strong MS Excel skills. Experience in financial systems and the manufacturing sector is advantageous but not essential.
What We OfferThis role offers a salary between £40,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a study package and up to 15% annual bonus.
