Job Summary

The Hotel Negotiation Specialist will be responsible for securing space and negotiating the best possible hotel rates and conditions for The Travel Corporation group business within the EMEA region. This role requires strong relationships with hotel suppliers and internal clients to ensure hotels sourced meet quality and standard requirements within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Negotiate group and FIT rates, terms, and conditions with hotel suppliers
  • Confirm group space at suitable properties within budget
  • Ensure hotels sourced meet quality and standard requirements
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with suppliers and internal clients
  • Liaise with Sales offices, Supplier Relationship Managers, Operations, Accounts, and Product-build departments as needed
  • Communicate clearly at all levels to ensure information is received and understood
  • Enter hotel information into computer systems
  • Stay up-to-date with market changes and new developments
  • Establish a calendar of events for the role
  • Manage and resolve possible complaints by liaising with suppliers and Operations/Sales
  • Deliver results within deadlines
  • Follow departmental or team guidelines and procedures
  • Maintain a team environment that supports the spirit of teamwork and commitment
  • Prioritize workload according to deadline, ensuring high accuracy and attention to detail

Requirements

  • Fluency in English, written and spoken

  • Approachable manner with colleagues, clients, and suppliers
  • Proficiency in Word, Outlook, Excel
