Miki Travel Limited is seeking a skilled Hotel Contract Specialist to develop, negotiate, and oversee contracts with hotels and accommodation partners. This role involves fostering strong relationships with suppliers to deliver exceptional experiences for clients. The ideal candidate will have a focus on meticulous contract administration, risk management, and cost control.

This position will be based in London or on a work-from-home basis, with flexibility to travel regularly to visit hotels, negotiate contracts, and represent the company at trade events.

Main Responsibilities
  • Report to the Area Manager to discuss and agree product requirements, identifying key properties within assigned destinations.
  • Act as the ambassador of Miki Travel, maintaining professional relationships with suppliers.
  • Negotiate with accommodation suppliers to ensure competitive rates and conditions.
  • Actively negotiate special offers, exclusive deals, and overrides with hotels throughout the year.
  • Ensure all hotels are re-contracted with specific deadlines.
  • Address and resolve any standard/service level issues with suppliers.
  • Investigate and resolve internal issues with operation/account colleagues.
  • Closely monitor production, pricing competitiveness, and availability.
  • Liaise with the coordination and data management teams to communicate inventory and pricing changes.
  • Set sales strategy for the contracted portfolio and highlight high-demand events.
  • Conduct business trips to improve relations with suppliers and negotiate best-in-market rates.
  • Identify new products in line with room nights and sales requirements.
  • Undertake ongoing analysis of product and quality within the contracting area.
  • Stay up-to-date with internal changes to systems and processes to contract more efficiently.
  • Enhance market knowledge through participation in trade events and media publications.
Requirements
  • 2-5 years' experience working as a Hotel Contract Manager in Europe.
  • Knowledge of static and dynamic rate models.
  • Proficiency in written and verbal English.
  • Fluency in French language is desirable.
