Job Title: Community and Events Fundraising Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Community and Events Fundraising Officer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering a successful community and events fundraising program, building reach and engagement across a range of events and activities, and working closely with our team to drive growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a successful community and events fundraising program, including events such as golf days, live music events, and Christmas markets.
  • Build reach and engagement across a range of events and activities, including partnerships with corporates, community groups, and organizations.
  • Work closely with our team to drive growth and success, including using data and insights to inform fundraising strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, and volunteers.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of fundraising activities and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience of planning and delivering a successful community and events fundraising program.
  • Proven experience of building reach and engagement across a range of events or other fundraising activities.
  • Understanding of fundraising regulations, health and safety requirements, and general laws.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an understanding of the impact of good storytelling.
  • Event marketing experience, including understanding of tools, systems, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience of using a CRM and the importance of using this data to provide insights and guidance.
