Job Title: Community and Events Fundraising Specialist

Job Summary:

Merrifield Consultants is partnering with Cherry Trees, a charity providing home-from-home care for children with complex disabilities and support for their families. We are seeking an experienced Community and Events Fundraising Specialist to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a successful community and events fundraising program to engage with supporters and increase revenue.
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners, community groups, and individuals to secure funding and support.
  • Plan and deliver events, including golf days, live music events, and Christmas markets, to attract supporters and raise funds.
  • Manage and analyze data using a CRM to inform fundraising strategies and optimize results.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Fundraising to develop and implement fundraising plans and goals.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in community and events fundraising, with a track record of success in engaging supporters and increasing revenue.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tell compelling stories and build relationships with stakeholders.
  • Event marketing experience, including understanding of tools, systems, and performance monitoring.
  • Experience with CRM systems and data analysis to inform fundraising strategies.
  • Understanding of fundraising regulations, health and safety requirements, and general laws.
