Merrifield Consultants is partnering with Cherry Trees, a charity providing home-from-home care for children with complex disabilities and support for their families. The charity is seeking an experienced Community and Events Fundraiser to join their team.
Job Title: Community and Events Fundraising Officer
Organisation: Cherry Trees
Reporting to: Head of Fundraising
Salary:£25,480 - £31,200
Location: East Clandon, Guildford (open to homeworking 2 days per week)
Required: CV and Cover Letter
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a successful community and events fundraising program
- Build relationships with corporate partners, community groups, and individuals to increase engagement and income
- Plan and deliver events that attract a large number of supporters and raise significant funds
- Manage and analyze data to inform fundraising strategies and optimize results
- Collaborate with the Head of Fundraising to achieve ambitious long-term goals and sustain increased engagement and income
Requirements:
- Experience in planning and delivering successful community and events fundraising programs
- Proven track record of building reach and engagement across a range of events or other fundraising activities
- Understanding of fundraising regulations, health and safety requirements, and general laws
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an understanding of the impact of good storytelling
- Event marketing experience, including understanding of tools, systems, and performance monitoring
- Experience with CRM systems and the importance of using data to provide insights and guidance
