Your New Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Secondary school in Maghull. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and students in the SEN department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the class teacher in managing behaviour and delivering lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
  • Complete 1:1 work and group work with pupils, providing additional support and guidance as needed
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized education plans for students with special educational needs
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant teaching assistant qualification (e.g. NCFE, CACHE or NVQ Level 3)
  • Have previous experience working with children within the last 2 years
  • Two references for work within a school/with children
  • Experience supporting SEN pupils (desirable)
