Job Description

Job Title: Early Years Educator

Location: Liverpool (L31 area)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and promotes social and emotional well-being.
  • Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to enhance literacy, numeracy, and social skills in young children.
  • Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff members to deliver a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
  • Establish strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and offering guidance on how they can support learning at home.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, participating in events, activities, and professional development opportunities.
Essential Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in EYFS.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
  • A nurturing and patient approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with young children.
  • Creative and engaging teaching methods that support children's curiosity, exploration, and confidence.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
