Job Title: Early Years Educator
Location: Liverpool (L31 area)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Fixed-Term (Maternity Cover)
Salary: £ per day (dependent upon experience)
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love of learning and promotes social and emotional well-being.
- Utilize a range of teaching strategies and resources to enhance literacy, numeracy, and social skills in young children.
- Monitor and assess pupils' progress, providing regular feedback and setting targets to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff members to deliver a cohesive and supportive learning experience.
- Establish strong relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed about their child's progress and offering guidance on how they can support learning at home.
- Contribute to the wider life of the school, participating in events, activities, and professional development opportunities.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching in EYFS.
- A strong understanding of the EYFS framework and early childhood development.
- A nurturing and patient approach, with the ability to build positive relationships with young children.
- Creative and engaging teaching methods that support children's curiosity, exploration, and confidence.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and carers.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
