Mental Health Practitioner Lead

A highly skilled and motivated Community Mental Health Nurse/Deputy Team Leader is required to work within the Aberdeenshire South Health and Social Care Partnership. This dynamic role involves carrying out first referral mental health assessments, providing low intensity psychological therapies, formulating care plans, and evaluating care.
About You
The successful candidate will be a Registered Mental Health Nurse with a preference for Older Adult Community Mental Health experience. You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders. A full driving license or access to a car is essential for this role.
Salary and Benefits
The annual salary for this position is estimated to be around £43,000 - £47,000, depending on experience. In addition to your basic salary, an attractive relocation allowance of up to £8,000 may be available to support your move to our area. Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Community Mental Health Nurse/Deputy Team Leader, your key responsibilities will include managing your own patient caseload, assisting with the supervision of junior staff, and deputizing for the Band 7 in the overall running of the team. You will be expected to work closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless service delivery and contribute to the development of the team's strategic plan.
