National Professional Lead Role

Lead a Team in Mental Health Improvement

This role is part-time, approximately 0.2 Whole Time Equivalent (WTE), and will be seconded to end of March 2025.

The position is based in Edinburgh/Glasgow with hybrid working arrangements applying for the foreseeable future.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to provide subject matter expertise and leadership in mental health improvement across the Community Engagement and Transformational Change Directorate (CETC).

The successful candidate will work closely with the national team to develop programmes and lead improvement initiatives within the Transformation Change – Mental Health Unit (TCMH).

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide expert advice and support to inform programme content and development.
  2. Lead the delivery of improvement initiatives within the TCMH unit.
  3. Collaborate with local, national, and international networks to drive improvement in mental health care.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to advance the aims of the programmes.

Requirements:

We are looking for a motivated individual with extensive knowledge of mental health and social care. The ideal candidate should have experience in providing input, leadership, and challenge to facilitate change within local areas.

Salary: circa £35,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on qualifications and experience)

Benefits: Hybrid working arrangements, secondment opportunity until March 2025
