We are seeking a skilled and passionate Lead ESOL Tutor to join our team at Tower Hamlets Council. As an experienced educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning on a range of accredited and non-accredited programmes.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for learners in the Post-19 education sector
  • Design and implement effective lesson plans that meet the needs of mixed-ability groups
  • Assess and evaluate learner progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance

**Requirements:**

  • You must hold a subject specialism in a Skills for Life subject (at level 5 or above) and possess a PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification)
  • Strong knowledge and experience of teaching in a post-compulsory setting are essential, as is familiarity with current best practice in teaching and learning
  • A flexible approach to working hours and locations is required, with an enhanced DBS check also necessary for this role

**Compensation:** The estimated annual salary for this position is £34,632, based on a 0-hour contract with a rate of £32.35 per hour. This figure is inclusive of the potential for overtime payments.
