We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Tower Hamlets Public Health Professional to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to contribute to improving public health and well-being in the community.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering effective pest control services that meet the changing needs of Tower Hamlets' diverse community. With a strong focus on public health, this role requires someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality services that reflect the Council's core values.

Key Responsibilities

  • To develop and maintain a responsive and effective pest control service.
  • To investigate pest infestations in residential properties.
  • To stay up-to-date with pest control legislation, best practices, and recent developments.
  • To work effectively in pressurized situations and deal courteously with all stakeholders.
  • To have a full, clean driving license and undertake heavy manual handling tasks.

Estimated Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this role is £38,000 - £43,000 per annum, depending on experience. We also offer opportunities for professional development, a supportive work environment, and a chance to make a real difference in the community.

Requirements

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is enthusiastic, dedicated, and highly motivated.
  • Holds an RSPH Level 2 certificate in pest control or equivalent.
  • Has broad experience in pest control work.
  • Can use information technology systems and equipment effectively.
  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
