Job Summary

Tower Hamlets Partnership is seeking experienced music educators to join our team as instrumental and vocal tutors. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching music to pupils in individual/small group lessons, and/or whole classes, in line with our policies and the Service Level Agreement (SLA) to schools in Tower Hamlets.

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Teaching music to pupils in individual/small group lessons, and/or whole classes
  • Delivering small group, whole class, or classroom curriculum music lessons
  • Working with pupils to develop their musical skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates should have:

  • Successful instrumental/vocal/curriculum teaching experience in a music service or school
  • Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development
  • Evidence of significant practical music-making at a high-level of performance

We offer a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work with a talented and enthusiastic team of music educators. The postholder will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and then every three years thereafter.
