Music Educators for Tower Hamlets

Job Summary
Tower Hamlets Partnership is seeking experienced music educators to join its Panel of Teachers. As an instrumental and vocal tutor, you will be responsible for teaching music to pupils in individual, small group, or whole class lessons.
Key Responsibilities
Your key tasks will include:
- Teaching music to pupils in individual, small group, or whole class lessons
- Delivering small group, whole class, or classroom curriculum music lessons
- Leading half or whole class instrumental, vocal, or curriculum music teaching
Requirements
Candidates should have:
- Successful instrumental, vocal, or curriculum teaching experience in a music service or school
- Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development
- Evidence of significant practical music-making at a high-level of performance
Additional Information
Being placed on the Panel of Music Tutors is not a guarantee of work. Posts are part-time, term-time only, and in various schools in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. The postholder will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check on appointment and then every three years thereafter.
Remuneration
The hourly rate for this position is £24.70 to £34.03, dependent on qualifications and experience.
