Job Title: Instrumental and Vocal Tutors

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced instrumental and vocal tutors to join our panel of music educators in Tower Hamlets. As a tutor, you will be responsible for teaching music to pupils in individual or small group lessons, and/or whole classes, in line with our policies and the Service Level Agreement (SLA) to schools in Tower Hamlets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach music to pupils in individual or small group lessons, and/or whole classes
  • Deliver small group, whole class, or classroom curriculum music lessons
  • Meet the requirements of the Service Level Agreement (SLA) with schools in Tower Hamlets

Requirements:

  • Successful instrumental/vocal/curriculum teaching experience in a music service or school
  • Evidence of commitment to continuing professional development
  • Evidence of significant practical music-making at a high-level of performance

Additional Information:

Being placed on the panel of music tutors is not a guarantee of work, but ensures that we can select tutors for teaching who are set-up by Human Resources and Payroll and cleared to teach. Posts are part-time, term-time only, and in various schools in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.

Salary: £24.70 to £34.03 per hour (dependent on qualifications and experience)
