Estimated salary: £23,000 - £29,000 per annum.

We're looking for a highly skilled Rural Development Officer to join our team at Sported. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting community sports groups in rural areas to develop sustainable solutions that benefit the local community.

The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of capacity building practices, including fundraising and organisational development. They will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to build effective relationships with stakeholders, including community groups, volunteers, and partners.

This part-time role involves working 22.25 days holiday in addition to statutory Bank Holidays (pro rata), with two additional days of personal leave per year for religious holidays and/or wellbeing days, two additional days of paid leave each year to volunteer for another charity or our Sported members, up to five days of paid study leave for self-funded education/training, flexible working arrangements, access to a pension scheme, virtual Diversity & Inclusion Open Space every month, and Cycle to Work Scheme.

As a Rural Development Officer, you will work closely with our insight team to deliver data-based insights, maintain accurate project administration, including evaluations, and ensure that your efforts align with our organisational goals. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of new projects and initiatives, leveraging your expertise to drive positive change in the community.
