About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and inspirational SEND Specialist Tutor to join our team at Prospero Teaching. As a SEND Specialist Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering bespoke tuition packages on a 1:1 basis to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) who cannot currently access mainstream education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, plan, and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge gaps in pupils' education and boost attainment levels.
  • Support and re-engage pupils in their learning, offering structure and routine to their daily lives.
  • Continuously monitor and report on pupil progress, working closely with Prospero Teaching to ensure effective support.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEND or a related field.
  • Ability to create and deliver engaging, tailored lessons.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
