Educational Support Specialist

Job Opportunity: We are seeking an Educational Support Specialist to support students with special educational needs (SEN) and disabilities (SEND) in their educational progress and personal care needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Academic Support: Assist students in the classroom, helping them to engage with lessons and activities, and provide one-to-one academic support where needed.
- Personal Care: Offer assistance with personal care tasks such as mobility, toileting, dressing, and feeding, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Adapted Learning: Work with the teaching and SEND teams to modify learning resources and create an accessible environment that meets the needs of individual students.
- Emotional Support: Build trusting relationships with students and provide emotional support to help them overcome challenges.
