Head of People Partnering Opportunity

Venn Group is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Head of People Partnering. This is an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious regulatory body and contribute to the development of a new team within the People Directorate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire the People Partnering team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.
  • Oversee and guide the People Partners in establishing and embedding a strategic business partnering approach, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.
  • Manage subject matter expert leads, ensuring the efficient operation of their respective functions and driving best practices.
  • Utilise Employee Relations expertise to continuously improve and update practices and policies, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and maintaining a positive employee experience.
  • Collaborate with the wider People teams to enhance the employee experience through aligned policies and practices, driving employee engagement and retention.
  • Partner with other People Leaders to refine the employee and service value proposition, providing effective solutions for the organisation and driving business growth.
  • Lead the evaluation and improvement of HR systems and technology to support strategic goals and drive best practices, ensuring seamless integration with existing processes.
  • Work collaboratively across the entire People Directorate to build credibility within the organisation and deliver an outstanding customer experience for all employees.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • MCIPD qualification or equivalent, demonstrating a strong foundation in HR principles and practices.
  • Extensive senior-level generalist experience in a complex organisation, with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of Employee Relations, with experience leading a team of subject matter experts and driving strategic business partnering approaches.
  • Proven leadership and management skills, emphasising policy improvement, high-quality service delivery, and employee engagement.
  • Expertise in designing and implementing People strategies, turning them into actionable team objectives and driving business outcomes.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and build relationships with leaders, managers, and stakeholders, driving organisational change and improvement.

Location: East Sussex

Duration: 6-9 months, with possible extension

Daily Rate: £ per day

Working Hours: Full time

Working Pattern: Hybrid (2 days per week in the office)
