Community Outreach Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Outreach Worker. As a key member of our community-based service, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals affected by substance misuse and homelessness.
Key Responsibilities- Provide one-to-one support and guidance to service users, helping them to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
- Work closely with local housing providers and other stakeholders to ensure seamless support for our service users.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with community partners, promoting our service and building trust with local residents.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of our service, including the design and implementation of new initiatives and programs.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of our service's policies and procedures.
- SVQ level 3 in Social Services & Healthcare or equivalent, or willingness to work towards this qualification.
- Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) or willingness to meet the registration requirements.
- Experience of working in a health, social care, or related setting, with a strong understanding of the issues and challenges faced by individuals with substance misuse.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with a range of stakeholders.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
