The successful candidates will work within the community paediatrics team to support the Clinical Nurse Specialist and other members of the team in providing help and support to children, young people, and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Clinical Nurse Specialist and other team members in providing help and support to children, young people, and their families.
  • Work within the community paediatrics team to provide support and guidance to families and individuals.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with families, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans and strategies to support children and young people with neurodevelopmental disorders.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • SCQF Level 8 qualification or equivalent.
  • Relevant experience in a childcare setting.
  • Sound knowledge of child development and health behaviour change.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to balance conflicting priorities.
  • Good working knowledge and application of current policy and guidance.
