Personal Development Partner Wanted

We need a dedicated individual to support a 16-year-old boy with Autism and severe learning disability in various community activities.

The ideal candidate will be patient, have good communication skills, and be caring and active. A car owner with appropriate business insurance is also required.

Hourly Rate: £12.00, with an additional £0.45 per mile for travel expenses.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure the individual's safety during community activities.
  2. Support independence and decision-making.
  3. Offer encouragement and practical assistance when needed.
Required Skills:

  • A patient and understanding approach.
  • A caring and empathetic nature.
  • A friendly and supportive disposition.
  • Willingness to participate in activities.
Working Hours:

This role requires a commitment of 6 hours per week, primarily on weekends and school holidays, from 10:00 to 16:00. Flexible scheduling may be accommodated if necessary.

Benefits: Annual holiday entitlement equivalent to 5.6 consecutive weeks of work, reimbursement of expenses incurred during the role, and mandatory training sessions on GDPR, Health and Safety, First Aid, Risk Assessment, and Autism.
